Community begins where neighbors care about neighbors.

Ven-Mar represents the residents on the east side of Venice and west side of Mar Vista. Venice east of Lincoln Blvd. and Mar Vista west of Centinela Ave.  Walgrove Ave. in the middle. We share many of the same issues. Traffic and crime and schools etc.

We are a West Los Angeles California group of concerned residents. Who have banded together to form the Ven-Mar Neighborhood Association. AKA Ven-Mar N. A.  All residents are welcome.  Both Homeowners and Renters.

We frequently communicate what is happening on a daily basis via the message board and calendar on Yahoo Groups.  The information there is fresh and flexible and all Ven-Mar Neighborhood residents are encouraged to sign in and use it.  It is a free service.  Please join the Yahoo Group at:

Our neighborhood is a part of Los Angeles City Council District 11 ( CD11 ) and is partly in the jurisdiction of Venice Council and Mar Vista Community Council.  We work with those organizations to achieve many of the communities goals.

We are in a very good section of town for many city services.  Our Los Angeles Police Department in this area is the Pacific Division and we are most frequently patrolled by car beat 25.
